Sexuality in Aged Care
This training is a half day, focusing on the expression of sexuality in residential and community aged care.

Purpose
This workshop is designed to increase the skills of aged care staff to respond to situations in which people in their care express their sexuality so that staff may respond with understanding, competence and respect.

- Identify appropriate and inappropriate sexual expressions
- Analyse the sexual expression in terms of the needs-based approach
- Implement a strategy to respond to sexual behaviour to enhance the wellbeing and protect the vulnerable
